Preschool Sessions

 

Our opening hours are:

Monday 8:00 - 17:30

Tuesday 8:00 - 17:30

Wednesday 8:00 - 17:30

Thursday 8:00 - 17:30

Friday 8:00 - 17:30

Each session includes of a mixture of free play, structured activities, stories and snack time.

Our experienced staff develop each activity with input and ideas from the children.

We offer term time or full time contracts.

 

PE

We run tailored PE sessions twice a week so that different children get the opportunity to experiment with different movements and physical activities. 

Music

We run music sessions once a week, delivered by an outsider provider so that children can experiment with music and movement. These sessions inspire a love of music and also incorporate areas of the EYFS within a fun, enjoyable and relaxed environment.

Breakfast & After School Club

The preschool offer a breakfast and after school club facility which is available to preschool and Heddington School children. 

Breakfast club runs from 8am until 9am, the children are offered breakfast and can have fun and play with their friends before school.

After school club runs from 3pm until 5:30pm, children are given the opportunity to play indoors or outdoors, do their homework and just have fun with their friends. An evening meal is also provided at an extra charge.

 

Lunch Club

We offer a daily lunch club from 12.00 to 13.00. Children can bring their own packed lunch or we can offer a hot dinner, there is an extra charge for this please ask for more details.

Lunch club provides the opportunity for children to develop independent eating and social skills. It also helps older children prepare for the longer school day.

 

Nursery Education Grant

All 3 and 4 year olds now have the right to an early years education paid for by the government starting in the term following their third birthday. This means each child is entitled to 15 hours per week for up to 38 weeks a year. Some families will also be entitled to an additional 15 hours funding per week, to see if you qualify please check on the childcare choices website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

We are also able to offer 2 year old funding. Currently there is no universal funding for all 2 year olds. However, Wiltshire Council does provide some funding for 2 year olds who meet certain criteria. To find out more please go to the Wiltshire Council website www.wiltshire.gov.uk

We also accept childcare vouchers as payment.

 

Fees

The session fee is £5.40 per hour for 3 & 4 year olds and £5.70 per hour for under 3's.

Term dates are in line with the local education authority with the exception of teaching training days. The dates are listed on www.wiltshire.gov.uk
