"Heddington Preschool has all the qualities I was looking for - a really caring team, a rural setting, lots of outdoor play, encouragement of creativity - and a Forest School!

The after-school care provision meant I could manage my work hours and collection of an older child as well as my preschooler.

For a working mum, having the additional care options was so helpful. Without the early-morning drop off and after-school care options, managing work responsibilities would have been so much harder. The Holiday Club was brilliant too!

Choosing Heddington Preschool was one of the best decisions we have made for our daughter's early education. We loved the village/farm feel to the area, were pleased to see that outdoor play was encouraged - whatever the weather... the access to nature (ducks, fish, chickens, cows, horses) was important to us, and the care team were always available to talk to about any concerns we were having about our daughter and gave really helpful - and reassuring - feedback.
The Forest School experiences have made a real lasting impression on our daughter... she now loves camping and wearing her wet weather gear - and has less issues about mud! Our older son was very jealous to learn she was cooking sausages and having hot chocolate at preschool!"

"Heddington pre-school is a fantastic environment for young children.
My son attends a couple of days a week, but asks every morning if it's a pre-school day! The environment and facilities are of outstanding quality, and the emphasis on outdoor learning and play is a massive bonus, as is the availability of the forest school.
The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. They take the time to get to know each child, their personalities, likes, dislikes and educational needs.
I would highly recommend Heddington to any parent looking for a comfortable, happy and challenging preschool for their child.

"Our son has been attending Heddington pre-school for a couple of months now and he absolutely loves it. He often talks about his teachers, especially his key worker...who he adores! Henry enjoys the variety of activities on offer during his sessions and the time spent outside exploring. The themes the children have each term are educational and fun.

As parents we really appreciate the pro active communication from the Leanne and the team, particularly in regards to what the children are doing and also Henry's progress. We are looking forward to Henry gradually spending more time at Heddington over the next year and also for his younger brother to join them when he is old enough."

We cannot praise Heddington Preschool highly enough. When our daughter started primary school in Calne, the wonderful preparation from all the staff at the preschool ensured a smooth transition and easy start for her. Our son who is currently at the preschool, loves attending and looks forward to seeing all of the staff and children. He went through an anxious spell some months ago when his sister went to school after the summer holidays, but the staff were excellent in helping him to overcome this. All of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting us through this tricky patch; as a result, our son loves attending the preschool more than ever and we have no hesitation whatsoever in sending our youngest child to Heddington Preschool when the time arises. It is an wonderful environment for the children to learn and play in, plus all of the staff are lovely and very friendly. We recommend Heddington Preschool to anyone who is looking for childcare in the area.
